While browsing through Bandcamp (bandcamp.com) and taking a look at some of the staff picks they had posted, one that I came across was a song called About You by an artist by the name of XXYYXX. What really sold me was the fact that there was a cool video to go along with the song on Vimeo. So as you may have guessed, I checked out the video and enjoyed what it had to offer, both musically and visually. Naturally I had to share it, so here I am to do that with you. Now what you wouldn't be able to tell from just listening to the music, is that XXYYXX is a sixteen year-old producer by the name of Marcel Everett, working out of his bedroom. Now I don't know about you, but personally, I find that crazy awesome. These kids being born into an age of such awesome technology are really taking advantage and making a path for the next generation of musicians and producers. So check out XXYYXX's bancamp page and if you like what you hear, throw him a dollar and download his stuff. IT'S ONLY A DOLLAR. I can guarantee that that will be one of the best dollars you will have recently spent.
